It’s a new year. So it’s the perfect opportunity to look at how you spend your time. Many of us run around ragged every day. But maybe this year, we can adopt a little bit of Hygge (pronounced “hoo-gah”), a philosophy from Denmark. People all over the world are embracing the Hygge way of life. It’s a philosophy that focuses on finding more time, simplifying our lives, and learning to unwind. But who has the time to fit that in? Luckily, a ride on Foothill Transit means someone else does the driving, while you can catch extra sleep, look up delicious meals to motivate yourself to eat healthier or fit in some meditation time. Having time for yourself can help to make you happier. Even saying Hygge makes us smile!

It turns out 41% of Americans make resolutions every year. Most New Year’s resolutions involve some goals for a healthier lifestyle. Unfortunately, 80% of resolutions fail by February.
